TITLE:Plant Engineer with Electrical experience LOCATION:Seward, Alaska REPORTS TO:Chief Engineer DURATION:Full time, year round employment with full benefits GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the plant refrigeration system under the direct guidance of the Chief Engineer. Also responsible for repairs and maintenance of plant equipment and machinery as assigned. Ensure that all company standards in terms of policy and safety are met. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assist with the operation of 1200HP ammonia refrigeration system including repairs and maintenance of the refrigeration equipment. 2. Repair and maintenance of plant processing equipment with Electrical systems emphasis on three phase power 480, 240,120 as well as single phase power 3. Have knowledge of safety and health hazards of ammonia and Electrical system and codes. 4. Assure safe work practices as directed by the Chief Engineer. 5. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Prefer training or experience with repair and maintenance of three phase power systems background. 2. Electrical experience preferred. 3. Must be able to work seven days a week, overtime and various shifts during peak season. June, July, and Aug 4. Experience in fishing or heavy industry preferred.
